About Us

KIWAM was established from a strong commitment to addressing the social, emotional, and structural challenges affecting girls, women, adolescents, and vulnerable communities in Tanzania.

Our Story

KIWAM was established from a strong commitment to addressing the social, emotional, and structural challenges affecting girls, women, adolescents, and vulnerable communities in Tanzania.

Through continuous engagement with communities, KIWAM identified that many challenges faced by young people and vulnerable groups were interconnected.

A significant milestone in KIWAM's journey is the development of the ACTIONS! innovation, a youth-led mental health promotion model.
